"In the corner, NOW!"

This is usually what I have to say when Suzanne does any number of violent activities. For example: biting Eric, biting Luke, punching (full-fist) Luke, spiting or any number of other dastardly deeds.

Luke often returns these behaviors. Since he is larger than she is, he has taken to full-fist punching, kicking in the stomach and poking.

At lunch today, Luke climbed under the table to scare Suzanne. Suzi saw her advantage and kicked Luke in the eye. Instead of waiting to be disciplined, she dropped off her stool and ran to the corner.

That's not exactly the conditioning I was going for when I started this process.

  1. Oh heavens! It is a weird moment when they begin to discipline themselves, isn't it?

  2. Good Luck but I tottaly feel like she is the female version of Ethan. Thank goodness he grew out of it, but I did get help form a councelor to handle the situations better. I hope she will grow out of it soon--

  3. That's really funny! I remember when Suzi was so innocent and just crawled around. I'm glad she's developing great self-defense skills. I don't know what life is like with 2 brothers, but from the sounds of it, she'll need a little self armor! Or maybe it's the boys who need to watch out!
