Eric is still NOT sleeping though the night. We found out he has another set of ear infections. We are wondering if he will need tubes like Suzanne. He has his 6 month well child today. We'll see how it goes. He is our smiley early riser despite his battle with the ears. On the other hand, I cannot seem to get Luke up before 8 am. He is going to have a hard time making it to school.
We also found out yesterday that Suzanne may be partially deaf. We are going to be taking her in an ENT DR next week for more testing. Whew!
We finally resolved our washing machine dilemma. I LOVE living in a city that offers OPTIONS! We found a front load washer for $500!! After all the crap with Sears and the new washer that we bought (that was broken and they knew it was broken), it felt like a small miracle. We can finally do laundry and wash the pile of blankets and clothes. One thing I am SUPER excited about with this washing machine is that it has a "sanitary" load. It is intended to heat water so hot that it kills all bacteria, etc in the laundry. The mom in me rejoices at such an option!
I cant wait to get our George Bush Check so that we can get a new Washer and Dryer.
ReplyDeleteSummer is a hard time to go to sleep. A suggestion- have him get ready at 8 pm then he has to saty in bed - reading books- until he falls asleep- you might have already tried this-
Keep an up date on the Ear issues- that is pretty junky.
It is always so nice when those kids learn to go to bed, and hard when they have to learn to get up, then then turn teenagers and it starts over again... sound encouraging? ha ha But we live thru it! and this too shall pass...
ReplyDeleteA sanitary Load? That sounds SO cool!
ReplyDeleteFinally, a moment I can check up on blog spots, but we missed seeing you in person, crossing paths all weekend, but the washer sounds great. I want one. Also, keep us posted on Suzie and kiss Luke goodnight from GMA
