kissing

We are all about kissing at our house!

A couple of weeks ago, Luke blurted, "I kissed a girl at recess when the teacher wasn't looking!"
"Oh," I said.
"Yeah, we're not supposed to kiss at school, but I kissed Callie on the check during recess when the teacher wasn't looking."
I said, "Maybe we should wait until we are older before we start kissing girls."
He said, "MOM! It was a long time ago!"

Eric clicks his tongue when he wants a kiss. We tried to make a video. The video is extremely dark, but the point was to record the "clicking" kiss sound. Gotta love the sign language of 15 month-olds.

  2. Oh the good ol'kissing thing. Adam has been our kisser. When he was in fourth grade a sixth grader gave him a kiss. But the best one was when he was at a YM/YW activity at the corn maze and he kissed a girl. He then proceeded to tell others about it and the leaders heard. And now they are not going to be taking the youth to the corn maze anymore. (I guess Adam wasn't the only one who kissed someone there, it's been a problem with more than one kid. But it makes you feel responsible when your son is among the ranks. Crazy!)
    SO beware. HAHAHA

  3. I love Luke! You saw that Peyton has been all about kissing lately too, but so far, he still thinks you have to be married to kiss. :) I've been thinking about you for the last couple weeks, too, but I never know when to call since you're working, and then I don't want to take time away from your kids if you home, y'know...We do need to "function" though.

  4. Yes, Luke informed me about his girlfriend when he was here the other day. I was trying to explain to him (and Lee and Suzi as well) how Aunt Kami was falling in love and had a boyfriend, and he said, "Well, I have a girlfriend. We're in love, and we're going to get married."

I'm glad he's got that figured out. It will save him many headaches in his life... hee hee...

I had a boyfriend in first grade. We kissed for an entire recess. Or at least hid in the big tires and made kissing noises. But he dumped me by the next recess, bozo. It was awkward to sit by him for the rest of my elementary school career.

  5. Luke is such a fresh innocent spirit. Eric is too. What good kissers they'll make some day. Just like their Grandpa. Ha ha. I miss you all and love you. MOM
