An Easter Message

I testify Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God. There is no other way or means whereby men can be saved except in and through the atonement of Jesus Christ. How I love the Easter season, because I can solemnly testify that He lives!

From the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints:
At this Easter season of hope and renewal we testify of the glorious reality of the atonement and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. The empty tomb brought comforting assurance and provided the answer to the question of Job, “If a man die, shall he live again?” (Job 14:14).

Because of the Savior’s resurrection we will overcome death and become the beneficiaries of His mercy and grace. In a world of trouble and uncertainty, His peace fills our hearts and eases our minds. Jesus is in very deed “the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6).

We give our sure witness that Jesus is the Christ. Though He was crucified, He rose triumphant from the tomb to our everlasting blessing and benefit. To each member of the human family He stands as our Advocate, our Savior, and our Friend.

    I really loved this. I am so grateful that you put it here for me to see. I too know this to be true. The atonement is for all of us, even me a little old Grandma. Thank you.

    It is with great reverence, respect and tender emotions that you feel when you watch and listen to the testimony of the prophet knowing that it was all done out of love for us. I am so grateful for the spirit that testifies and the knowledge that there is a purpose and reason for all that we do.

    I also leave my testimony of the great love of God our Father and his great love for us, as well as the great love and atonement of our Savior, even Jesus Christ.

    There is a song that is played on the radio that I tear up every time I hear it, it's "I can only imagine." By Mercy Me. "I can only imagine what it will be like when I walk by your side, I only imagine what my eyes will see when your face is before me. Surrounded by your glory, what will my heart fill, will I dance for you Jesus or will all of you be still. Will I stand in your presence, to my knees will I fall? Will I sing halleluiah. Will be able to speak at all? I can only imagine. when all I will do is forever worship you." What honor he deserves from all of us!!
