"I'm pretty much a high-schooler."

One of our neighbors briefly mentioned she thought Luke was older than a kindergartener. He was listening, caught the idea and spent the next hour processing the logical pattern of what that meant.

"So, it's like when I am in 1st grade, I'm going to act like a 2nd grader."

"Then it's like when I'm a 2nd grader, I'm going to act like a 4th grader."

"When I'm a 5th grader, it's like I am going to act like a high schooler."

"I'm pretty much a high schooler."

About a half hour later, I asked him to get his pajamas on. He said, "Yeah, Mom, it's like I'm a high schooler, and high schoolers are good listeners."

Whew. . .don't we all hope that is the case!
