Hamilton Gardens

We went to the Hamilton Gardens for the first time yesterday.
Luke and I want to go back today.

They gardens are beautiful, free and right by the Waikato River.  I can completely understand why they are a tourist attraction. The designers of the gardens have replicated traditional gardens from different periods. We only saw half of the gardens--the Paradise Collection.

Here's a few pictures of our wanderings yesterday.

Of all the places we've been, the gardens have been one of our favorites!

(Forgive our amateur photography.)

Italian Renaissance Garden

The gateway to the other paradise gardens.

Traditional English Flower Garden

Chinese Scholar Garden

Bamboo Trees

The American West Garden
(What was funny about this garden was the design. It was like a modern 6" deep swimming pool with a huge picture of Marilyn Monroe. We laughed pretty hard!)

Indian Char Bagh Garden

This place would be a photographers dream! I was wishing I would have brought my camera.
