Living on an island is like living in an aviary.

This is a water bird. Look at the bird's feet! Crazy! 

This bird is a flightless bird. It runs like I imagine a dinosaur running. 

These birds literally charged me when I brought out some treats for my kids at Hamilton Lake. 
It was creepy! 




Rotorua Lake, or Hamilton Lake, in the middle of the city.

    Wow, that is one scarey bird. Those waves look really huge, I'm glad they brought them in instead of out. I'll bet that worried you.
