Sunday Reflections

We were absolutely determined to be to church on time today. We just completed a year of 9 a.m. church only to move into another ward of 9 am church...I guess we have something to learn. As a result, we are all exhausted and want to go to bed at 6:30 pm. BUT- we made it to church on time! Luke has an incredible teacher. She's taken him under her wing and done very well to help him feel loved. I noticed today he doesn't have the same vibe he had with the ward we just left. Things take time though. I think we'll start going to the play group this week. Suzanne on the other hand, LOVES nursery. All I have to do is open the door and she walks right in. Ryan and I decided that we move so often that we've adapted this attitude: Move into a ward and act like you've always lived there--no one will know any different--except for the fact that you can't remember anyone's name.

We went for a walk today on the Logan River Trail. It was nice to be outside. It was warm and the first time Eric has been in a stroller. Gotta love these winter babies. While we were walking Ryan asked Luke why his hands were so warm, he didn't have any gloves on. Luke replied, "Heavenly Father is protecting my hands from the cold, but HE'S NOT PROTECTING ME FROM SWEAT." He was sweating from running up and down the trail. We got a pretty good laugh out of his logic.

Suzanne is potty training for real this time! I checked out 4 "girl" potty training story books from the Logan library. She loves to read them. She stayed dry nearly the entire day yesterday and wore panties! Yes, we are on our way! As she was getting her pajamas on, she decided to try on some of Eric's clothes. I have pictures. HILARIOUS! Still no high-speed internet yet to upload them. 10 DAYS until Broadband, or at least that is the neighborhood rumor. We are definitely counting down.
