We all know the cliche: When it rains, it pours. For us, it's like we are living on an island. It's clear in the morning and rains in the afternoon.
Rain: We bought some bunk beds on Saturday. While I was helping the DI fellows take it apart, one of the railings landed on my hand. We weren't sure if I broke it or not. I waited it out for a few days. Every time I moved it or one of my kids touched my hand. . .OUCH! I did have an x-ray on Monday.
Sunshine: It wasn't broken. It is internally bruised.
Rain: Our Explorer broke down again yesterday. It's in the shop "until they can get to it." I'm pretty sure it's the alternator. BUG!
Sunshine: I found Luke a pair of running shoes 70% off the lowest clearance price. (He really wants running shoes for his birthday.) I ended up paying less for those $50 shoes than I normally pay when I get him new shoes at Payless or something.
Rain: I bought a wok today. I had it balancing on the stroller at the store. Eric was sitting in the stroller. It fell on Eric. He has a nice "goose egg" on his head. I felt SO BAD!
Sunshine: Suzanne is getting better at communicating which equals more hilarious. She just yelled, "Hey guys, I'm yelling at you to get me covers."
Rain: Luke "magically" broke our garage door.
Sunshine: Ryan fixed it . . . even though it's on the manager's handyman list.
Did I mention all of this stuff has happened in the last 48 hours??? :)
