An "Approved" Sunday Activity

Wow....we need a word for blog slacker: blacker or blogacker. Yes, I think that is it. I've been a blogacker. When I looked at my blog all I could think was: has it really been that long?

I decided to post a bunch of pictures. All the batteries I had for our camera (necessary energy in the transferring pictures process) were dead.

Two weekends ago, we went to SLC and hung out with Ryan's family. We road the train from Odgen to Salt Lake City: the Frontrunner. I LOVE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION! From there we took Trax to Sandy. Luke and Suzi loved it at first, then they were like: are we done yet? When do we get off? No different than riding in the car--EXCEPT, I didn't have to worry about stinking car seats! I could hold Eric and he cried considerablly less. :)

The kids had a great time playing with cousins in some swimming pools in the Grandparent Sheffers' backyard. All in all, it was pretty fun.

On our return home, we roade Trax from Sandy to Salt Lake Central Station only to remember, we had left the keys at "Riverton" house. ARGH! So, Ryan rode TRAX back to Sandy, Trisa met him at the Sandy station with the goods and then Ryan rode back. In an attempt to keep the kids from getting too bored, we stayed at Temple Square while Ryan rode.

The kids loved Temple Square and the sisters that "adopted" us. In the end, it was a late, late night. Church came EARLY (almost too early) the next morning.

We went to Salt Lake AGAIN this weekend. We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. We dropped the kids off at the Sheffers and went to a movie. We snuck groceries into the movie for "dinner" and laughed. We were going to get a hotel room. Then we decided we didn't want to spend the money. SO, we ended up sleeping in a random neighborhood in the back of our Explorer. HA! My first night away from Eric and I could barely sleep because I was freaked out. Ryan slept so-so, but was not freaked out.

On Saturday, we helped Dean and Angie pack for their move to Panguitch. We loaded our car with Alisa's (she recently moved to Logan) stuff, and headed home. Good times.

Stay tuned for pictures...once I get some new batteries.

  2. What exciting adventures (I'm not sure if exciting is the word, but I'm trying to be positive :D )! I love blog updates, but in the blogger's due time. That time is understandably slower when said blogger has 3 kids, so I'm amazed you post as often as you do. Keep up the good work!
