SCHOOL and MOMS

Eating some breakfast before going to school.

There have been a lot of questions as to how I "held up" sending my "first" one off to school. Honestly, Ryan took him the first day and I COULDN'T WAIT to get him out of the house!

No tears, no floods of emotion. . .

To put it in Luke's words, "Mom, sometimes kids need a break from their parents, and sometimes parents need a break from their kids." Hey, at least he and I are on the same page.

Really anti-climatic, I know.

The thing I'm enjoying and dreading is homework. We had a couple assignments already this week and, WOW! it was hard to keep Luke motivated until he was finished.

P.S. A big THANKS to everyone who has called and talked to Luke about how school is going--I'm not sure what he thinks, but it means a lot to me.

  1. I'm glad that things are going so well for you and Luke. And I'm on the same page with you two, can't wait until pre-school starts on the 2nd. I'm not sure which one of us is more excited.

  2. This is just the beginning of a new season. There will be some that you will wish they last longer and other that will speed by. Enjoy the moment.
