We've been back 1 week from the Tom and Chris Reynolds Family Reunion. We had SUPER fun! We all stayed together in a cabin in Island Park. Wow! (That's a wow like, "that was crazy that we all stayed in the same physical structure.")
Although he is lovey-dovey in this video, Eric woke everyone up when he cried at night.
Ethan and Luke had a BLAST and were nearly inseparable. Suzanne and Addison did pretty well. Girls will be girls. . . . Poor little Kiaya. They loved her "at a distance." Carolynn was super smart to keep Kiaya strategically placed. Eric crawled around loving that there were mulitple people to hold him.
I was not much of a fan being "woke up for breakfast" and "to get to the park." Ryan finally told me to "stop being a whiney teenager" on our second day there. I totally deserved it.
On our drive home we came back through Yellowstone and the Tetons. We saw most of the animals on our drive home. We saw a bear, bison, bald eagles, pelicans, hawk with a live fish in its claws, and elk....
The black bear was the most exciting. He was BIG. We noticed him meandering on the side of the road. We had a great "view" of him, but he was getting close. We decided to drive to a "safer" vantage point. The bear ran across the road while people climbed out of their cars to snap photos. Whew...crazies!
We also stopped by the Mud Valcano on our way home. It's one of my favorite places in Yellowstone--because it's so strange. . .
I LOVE the Tetons. They are one of my favorite places.
My favorite thing was the games we all brought to play. We also enjoyed watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics.
