July 24th

This was one of the FUNNEST Pioneer Days I've had!

Days of 47 Parade Downtown SLC

Awesome floats!

One of the most amazing thing about the parade was the people! One kind woman let me barrow a chair to sit in. Another woman let Luke, Suzanne and Eric sit on her blankets so they could be in the front row! So kind! Wonderful examples!

Great Christian music!

THEN....

We went to the "This Is The Place Heritage Park!"

I figured if we were going to do Pioneer Day near Salt Lake City, we were going to do it BIG! And it was a BLAST!!

Here was so much to do! We went to the petting zoo, rode horses, rode a train, stamped leather, played on a splash pad, had old homemade donuts, made an arrow head necklace, saw several trades in action and learned a lot of pioneer history!

The kids even got to try milk a cow....a plastic cow!

One of the best days I've had in months!!
