A Day in Auckland

We spent Saturday, May 3, 2014 in Auckland. It was a beautiful city somewhat similar to San Francisco. Although one of my students told me Wellington is the most like San Fran. Needless to say, we love seeing the islands, the yachts and sailboats and the ocean.

Auckland Skyline. The Sky Tower is the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere. They are just finishing construction. 

I loved the "feel" of Auckland! 

We also went to Auckland Domain (a large park near downtown Auckland). There is a large muesum in park. We spent hours in the museum and loved every minute!
