Waitomo Caves

We went on a day trip to the Waitomo Caves. The caves were amazing and contain glow worms. It's difficult to describe how glorious it is to see tiny worms glowing in a pitch-black cave. Of course, we were easily distracted by other "tourist" sites!

The fun part of the caves was seeing the HUGE underground caverns, then loading up in a boat and floating through the caves in a boat while star-like light light lit-up the cavern's ceiling.
